1. Fully unwind the power cord and plug into an electrical outlet.
2. Slide the On/Off switch from off to on . The LED will light up and the device is ready to use after approximately 5 minutes.
3. Section off your hair and secure it with a clip or ponytail holder.
4. Take a 2 in. wide and no more than ½ in. thick section of clean, dry hair; pulling it carefully downward until it is taut, between the two hot ceramic plates. Starting at the root of the hair (avoid touching the scalp), firmly squeeze the ceramic plates together while pulling it down towards the tip of the hair.
5. Repeat the process on additional sections until desired style is achieved. Lightly spray with hairspray to set the style in place.
6. When done, turn off the appliance and unplug it.
